Tokyo Godfathers, neck cramps, an A+++++ in class exam, and a good day

I think I covered the jist of it in the title. Even though I’m literally running on 3 hours of sleep (as I finished my work around 3 am and had to get up at 6 to print the damn thing), I can still feel the energy running within me. It could have been the coffee and green tea I had earlier.

My last final for the quarter was surprisingly easy. I think its because I actually liked the class and was interested in it, so I paid attention to it more. I didn’t really had to search around for my notes to get the answers. John picked me up after class and we had breakfast and spent the rest of the day together :3 We went to the mall where we saw an old teacher of mine whose papers I’d grade O: She left school the year after I graduated and I haven’t been able to contact her since, until I saw her at the mall while John and I were having lunch. She was carting around two adorable kids and their grandparents.

It was weird seeing her again O: All Fridays in my senior year after school were spent in her classroom, grading stuff for community service hours, munching on the snacks she’d bring, and basically having a really good time with my friends. I wasn’t sure if she’d recognize me (I don’t think I’ve changed much, but then, I used to look like this), or if I should call her by her real name (maybe the fact that we’re both adults now changes things?) or if I should continue to call her what I’ve been calling her all these years — Senora :B I guess I should be glad that the woman who cut my hair an hour earlier left it drippy and wet so that my straightening would frizz out . . I was characterized by my thick hair in high school :B

Afterwards, John and I went home and laid around until five or so :B We watched Tokyo Godfathers after dinner.

I know, I swore off Satoshi Kon after watching Paprika (and then not sleeping for about a month . .and still scares me until today) because I don’t need this guy’s insane fairytales invading my current ones, but Tokyo Godfathers was perfect. Its pretty much made it to one of my most favorite movies and I recommend you all to go out and watch it when you can :]

Its been a very good day :]
