An assault to the senses

This can only mean one thing: Dance Dance Revolution has come to my ipod! Yay! Of course the only version out there is DDR Lite with one mode and one song so now Flowers by Terra is stuck in my head (and like most DDR songs, will continue to be stuck in my head until something more catchier, possibly another DDR song, replaces it), but I’m super excited for the full version to come out n_n

I can’t really listen to DDR music without feeling nostalgic for 2003, when my affinity for jpop and Dance Dance Revolution were at it’s peak. It didn’t help that I was dating a complete DDR nut during the time, who helped stock up my collection of every fast paced DDR track and all of it’s remixes :B This isn’t to say that the music or my DDR skillz were any good (let me tell you about the time I fell off the mfing machine . . .), but dammit if those days weren’t fun. I only realize it now how much my parents must have been annoyed at my tastes in music during that time since I would listen to the DDR tracks on repeat. :B I hope Konami throws in Butterfly for the shits and giggles. I kind of wish the DDR mats for the home versions didn’t suck so much though :[

The game for your ipod is already so much more fun than the other rhythm-based games available out there n_n Excited! I’ve made it to an A but I’m shooting for a Double A by tonight. ;D This is sooooooooo unhealthy.
