My friend sent me albums by The National today (one of my most favorite bands) when I found out that one of their songs was named Karen! After me!
So I listened to it first, of course. :D
It’s a song about a girl named Karen that the boy doesn’t understand very well. She’s threatening to leave him, he’s begging her to stay because she hasn’t seen his good sides yet, he’s frustrated because she keeps closing doors and windows on him, he wonders if it’s just him and maybe it’s a phase . . . yet he doesn’t really want to change.

Edit: I’m going to be seeing them live in May! This is the first time I’ve ever planned for something that wasn’t a week in advance :P
