John and I watched Coraline today. It was a very good movie, even though I doubt I’m going to be sleeping anytime soon.

The commercials and the trailers TOTALLY didn’t do a very good job at showing how creepy the movie was T___T; By the end of the movie, I had both my feet up on the seat and my hood over my head. I found myself trying to hide behind John during some scenes :B I don’t know why they peddle it to young children. It scared the living shit out of me B: I came home with John ready to club my parents if they had buttons for eyes.

Still though, none of those shows makes me actually yell at the TV than Tool Academy. I’m not sure who are the bigger tools, the lying, cheating, good-for-nothing-douchebags or the girls that stay with them.

Maybe it’s just me and maybe I’m just tired of the whole “trying to work it out” deal, but seriously girls, HE’S A LIAR, HE’S A JERK, AND YOU’RE A STUPID BITCH FOR TAKING HIM BACK EVEN THOUGH HE TOTALLY FLIRTED WITH THE CUTE MAKE UP ARTIST EVEN THOUGH HE KNEW HE WAS BEING FILMED AND HE’S LYING TO YOU IN SAYING THAT HE’LL CHANGE AND YOU KNOW HE NEVER WILL AND HE SAID HE “TRAINED” YOU TO DO EVERYTHING HE WANTS, LIKE A TRAINED MONKEY AND YOU STILL TOOK HIM BACK GAWD THANKS FOR TAKING WOMEN CENTURIES BACK YOU STUPID BITCH. IT AIN’T GON’ WORK! GOD HAVE SOME SELF RESPECT FOR YOURSELF HE’S A DICK AND TEARS AND BLUBBERING AIN’T GUNNA SAVE YOUR RELATIONSHIP. YOU SAID IT’S OVER IF HE WALKED OUT THAT DOOR AS THE BIGGEST TOOL AND YOU STILL TOOK HIM. UGH!

Soooo what did we do in that time?

We watched Jet Li and Jackie Chan’s new movie, The Forbidden Kingdom, thats what :B

I went in there expecting total crap, in which they’d butcher the story of the Monkey King (you know, the movie that me and my family would all watch together years ago . . . one of the only “bonding” times we had :B), rip away my childhood, further prove that Asian actors know nothing besides shit kung-fu movies, and have the whitey save the day at the very end.

I was pleasantly surprised n_______n

The music was great (for some reason, I find the typical “old China” music to be beautiful and really sad at the same time), the fighting was great (not long and drawn out), and it was really funny :B I thought Jackie Chan’s lines would only include stupid and corny sayings, but the corn was cleverly placed =] And even though the kid from Boston really did save the day, they handled it really well. Don’t take it too seriously and its pretty much the bestest film ever. Like. Up there with Transformers O: (hush, I liked that movie :B) Plus! Jet Li’s first line in the movie was “No Fool!” Only if you’ve ever heard Asians say that, it comes out like “NO FU!” where even if the movie did suck, which it didn’t, that line would have saved it. I wanna go see it again :B

Then afterwards, John stayed the night :] We camped out on the floor, I froze my ass off (he likes it cold, I like to sleep under the covers in summer), caught tiny colds, and woke up with bad morning breath. It was a really good night :]

We laid around in bed, went out, got some popcorn chicken and tea, watched Transformers (again) and then American Gladiators (its not Ninja Warrior, but I don’t have g4 anymore :/).

It was a good day :]

Was watching Optimus Prime saw that Decepticon’s head off with John a good excuse for not doing any of my readings and falling behind in class? Hell. Yeah.

I have this weird habit of spending a whole ton of money . . on stuff I can’t remember spending it on. Today, two out of the three professors I have canceled class. Seriously O: I dragged my sorry ass out of bed at six, came to my first English class at 8, and as I walked towards my next class, my classmate Diana told me that class was canceled. Which is really really great, since Philosophy/Religion is SUCH a bore. My teacher doesn’t really explain to us what we’re doing, so what he does is that he comes into class and opens his mouth — letting out buckets of boredom.

Since class was canceled, we went to the cafeteria to study . . for a class that we found out was canceled when we went back. Anyway, we went to the bookstore and there sat the cutest pair of Skullcandy Smokin’ Buds. It was in pink, to go with the breast cancer month theme. Soooooooooooo cute. And I used the crappy reasoning of “Well, the Skullcrushers that John bought me for my birthday are like head clamps sometimes and they’re so big that whenever I turn around next to something, my earphones hit whatever I’m next to. .. ” so I bought the 30 dollar pink earbuds. :D Diana didn’t know that she shouldn’t take me to a place that might possibly sell shiny mp3 player accessories. Its understandable :B

Right now I’m watching Love Actually. :] For the fifteenth hundredth time. I think the only Portuguese I know is from Colin Firth’s really bad butchering of it when he proposed to Aurelia :]. I love this movie :333. Plus, its got a lot of history with me.

Like the first time I saw it, I cried my sorry ass off because Fernando was gone and I wanted Jamie and Aurelia’s story. And the Prime Minister’s o:. And I had a story most like Karen and Harry’s :[ And I remember John looking around for it for when he came over for the first time in November :D And it was six months ago when John and I were watching Love Actually (on USA) when we kissed :3

Not like a hug from a somewhat psychotic Asian who probably smells is *really* going to cure a person of depression, but I could get my mom to insist that it would work.

I mean it wasn’t the part where he bit off those faerie’s heads, but the way he was walking @@; Its slow, and you’re like “RUN LITTLE GIRL RUN FASTER!” and he’s going at like 2mph with his creepy hands flailing everywhere and somehow he manages to gain on her :o. It scares the hell outta me.

And yeah, here I am, flailing around at the screen trying to swat the Pale Man away from me :B
