History
I’ve been blogging on the internet for about six years now, and if you dug really deep, you could probably follow my blogging trail. I started off using Geocities (we will miss you!), and moved from one embarrassing Geocities screename to another.
One day, Cole of 7and1 (then mistressofpuppets.com) had a weird idea about letting me be hosted on her site when all I had to show was a poorly-made layout (I’d show you it, but Geocities is now a thing of the past :/ ). I really appreciate the fact that she saw the potential in me. Everybody has to start somewhere, right? My ability to make layouts didn’t improve a whole lot, but I was finally managing to grasp how to code a basic layout. Eventually, I moved onto my own website, she-kills.net. Maybe two months later, I decided that the domain name sucked and gave it to my friend. In return, I bought my second domain, Iron-Butterfly.com (I thought the literal interpretation of an iron butterfly was cool. So did the 60′s psychedelic rock band). The servers that I was hosted on was awful so my site was up and down for about two years until I had enough of them and moved to Xanga.
During that time between i-b.net and Xanga, my layout making skills improved and fell apart. My graphics skills only improved (so I guess thats a start :B), but I couldn’t make anything fit with any of my layouts. After Xanga, I moved to my friend Kris’s server for almost a year :]. Kris went AWOL mid-March and I moved off his server since it just felt weird using a domain that’s been pretty much abandoned =x.
